Normally, and conventionally, Vermi Compost was produced under fully covered buildings, where the chambers are constructed with cement and bricks, which needed huge investment in the beginning.
Whereas in our Arjun HDPE Fabric Vermi Beds, the initial investment is less than 10% of the project cost of the building model vermicompost farms.
Our beds are normally made in the size of: 12 feet length x 4 feet width, and in the height of 1.5 feet or 2 feet. Any other sizes can be made as per customers’ choices.
When you wash the vermi bed or when it rains, the Vermi Wash solution is produced, which is a very effective fertilizer for plants. To collect the Vermi Wash, we provide a provision at the bottom – a 1.5” dia loop, on which you can insert a PVC pipe and collect the Vermi Wash solutions.
We also provide “on request” aeration nets on both sides of the beds, ensuring a continuous oxygen supply to the worms, thereby enhancing vermicompost production.
Choosing the right vermi bed for your farm or garden is essential for effective vermicomposting and sustainable farming. By considering factors such as material, size, ventilation, maintenance, and initial investment cost, you can decide the size and quantity.
Investing in a high-quality vermi bed will not only enhance soil fertility but also promote eco-friendly waste management practices. Start your vermicomposting journey today and reap the benefits of organic farming!
